Thomas F. Helbig specializes in creating customized retirement income strategies designed to provide lifetime income in retirement. These strategies offer the potential for growth and principal protection.

He also offers informational seminars throughout the year, and this strong belief in sharing his knowledge has been the foundation of his clients’ confidence in their retirement years. His passion is in helping retirees and pre-retirees protect their life savings and maintain a comfortable lifestyle during retirement.

Thomas has been in the financial services industry for more than 40 years. In 1977, he started working for a local firm, Financial Structuring Systems, and was mentored by some of the top financial professionals in the St. Louis area. After 10 years, he founded his own firm, which was originally named Diversified Financial Planners. The name was later changed to Retirement Advisory Group.

Thomas was born and raised in St. Louis and comes from a large family of five children. His parents instilled in him a strong work ethic and a desire to succeed. For more than 25 years, Thomas has trained in the martial arts and has attained a third-degree black belt in the art of Kenpo Karate. That, along with weight training, keeps him physically fit and mentally sharp. He lives in Chesterfield, Missouri, with his girlfriend and his beloved dog, Lou.
